Our Services:
1. Home Inspection
Congratulations! You are under contract on a new home! We would love to walk through with you and develop a detailed and formal report discussing normal house wear-and-tear, as well as more extensive deficiencies.
2. Walk & Talk
Have your eye on a property, but not sure if you are up to the task of it’s maintenance? Let us walk through with you before submitting a contract so you feel confident in taking on its history and charm.
3. New Construction
Be prepared with a list of deficiencies to discuss with your home builder at your pre-drywall and 1-year walkthroughs. This may be your last opportunity to have repairs done by them, and we can get you ready.
4. Pre-Listing Inspection
Similar to a Walk & Talk, this is a more informal walkthrough discussing high, moderate and low line items you should think about before listing your home.
What you can expect from our inspections:
Exterior
Siding and wall covering, painting, windows and screens, roof integrity, chimneys, foundation integrity, grading, drainage, gutters and downspouts, evidence of insects or animals, driveway and walkways, decks, exterior plumbing, porches and balconies, garage/carport, crawlspaces, smoke detectors and other structural components.
Interior
Walls, visible framing, flooring, windows, cabinets, kitchen and laundry appliances, doors, interior foundation integrity, trim and finishing, staircases, fireplaces, painting and caulk, attic.
Electrical
HVAC, electrical panel, lighting, switches and outlets, ductwork, ceiling fans.
Plumbing
Water supply, showers and bathroom fixtures, visible plumbing, evidence of active or dormant leaking, sink drainage, garbage disposal, natural gas.
